Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. Introduction

TrackGiant ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account data — name, email address, user type (artist or curator), and profile information you provide on registration.
  • Content you upload — music files, profile images, and any other files submitted through the Platform.
  • Transaction data — payment records processed via Stripe. We do not store full card details; Stripe handles PCI-compliant payment processing.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interaction logs to improve the Platform.
  • Communications — messages, feedback threads, and support correspondence.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To facilitate submissions, feedback, and service orders between artists and curators
  • To process payments securely via Stripe
  • To send transactional emails and notifications relevant to your activity
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations
  • To improve and develop new features for the Platform

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party services necessary to operate the Platform:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate usage analytics (page views, feature engagement). Data is processed by Google LLC under their privacy policy. You may opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
  • ContentSquare — session analytics and UX measurement (aggregated heatmaps, navigation patterns). No individual recordings are stored. Data is processed by ContentSquare SAS under their privacy policy.

Each provider has its own privacy policy and processes data only as necessary to provide their service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain session state.

We also use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) — sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to distinguish users and measure traffic. Data is aggregated and anonymised before use.
  • ContentSquare — sets a session cookie to capture aggregated interaction patterns (scrolls, clicks, navigation). Individual sessions are not stored or replayed.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies for ad targeting.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@trackgiant.com.

8. Security

We take security seriously. All data is transmitted over HTTPS, passwords are never stored in plain text, and access to production systems is strictly limited. However, no system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

9. Children's Privacy

TrackGiant is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
